Crews for running stores

Run your store’s run club from one place

Your weekly shop run is some of the best marketing you do: regulars, new faces and a crowd outside the door every Thursday. Crews gives the store one home for it, with a calendar of runs, real RSVPs, participant exports and a chat that keeps runners talking between sessions.

The problem

What running a store run club really involves

  • 01

Your community lives on a social feed

Runs get announced in stories that disappear in a day. The algorithm decides who sees Thursday’s run, not you.

  • 02

No idea who actually turns up

You want to know how many runners came, who is new and who has been every week. A like count doesn’t tell you that.

  • 03

Staff run the club on their personal phones

The run leader’s own group chat is the club. When they move on, the community’s contact point leaves with them.

  • 04

    Brand events need a headcount

A shoe demo run or a partner event has limited spots and limited product. Guessing numbers wastes both.

How it works

A week of store runs in Crews

How a running store with a weekly social run and a monthly brand event might run things.

  1. 1Monday

    Post the week’s runs

The community manager adds Thursday’s shop run and Sunday’s long run to the crew calendar, meeting point in the details. Members get a push notification.

  2. 2Tuesday

    Open the demo run

The monthly shoe demo run goes up with a capacity of 30 to match the pairs available. Once it’s full, the attendee list shows exactly who has a spot.

  3. 3Thursday night

Run, then keep the crowd talking

Pace groups sort themselves in the event chat. Afterwards the group photo becomes a memory and the chat stays lively until the next run.

  4. 4End of month

    See who came

Run leaders checked runners in on their phones at the start. At month end the Attendance tab shows the show rate, who keeps coming back and each runner’s streak, ready to export as CSV.

Is Crews right for your store’s run club?

Crews suits independent running stores, brand-owned run clubs and store chains running one community per location. The store owns the crew, staff share the admin work, and the members belong to the club rather than to one employee’s phone.

It isn’t a retail, loyalty or ticketing system: there are no payments, no product sales and no integrations with your till or email tools. What it gives you is a clean record of who comes to what, a calendar runners actually check and a community space that isn’t at the mercy of a social feed. At $59 a month per crew, it usually costs less than a single box of demo shoes.

FAQ

How much does Crews cost for a running store?

Crews is $59 a month per crew, paid by the store. Runners join free. That includes up to 100 members; bigger clubs add member packs at $18 a month per extra 100 members. Every crew starts with a 14-day free trial, no card needed.

Our run club has 250 members. What would that cost?

You’d need 300 member seats: the $59 base plan plus two member packs, so $95 a month. See the pricing page for the full table.

Can we see who attends our runs?

Yes. Run leaders check people in on their phone from the event page, walk-ins included. The crew’s Attendance tab shows events held, average attendance, show rate and each runner’s history and streak, with a CSV export.

Can we sell tickets or take payments for events?

No. Crews doesn’t handle payments or tickets today. Payments and ticketed events are on the roadmap, not available yet.

Does Crews connect to Strava or our email list?

No. Crews has no integrations. It covers the community side: runs, RSVPs, chat, photos and exports.

Can we run one crew per store location?

Yes. Each location can have its own crew, and each crew has its own subscription. Staff who work across locations see every crew’s events in their personal calendar.
