Muted chats miss cancellations

Most people mute busy group chats, which is fair. The problem is that the one message that matters, “session cancelled, the pitch is flooded”, gets muted along with everything else.

Crews separates the important from the chatter. A time change or a cancellation is a distinct notification, not a message you have to spot in a stream. And you control each type separately, so you can silence general chat while still getting mentions and event changes.

    Allow notifications in your browser or on the installed app. In-app notifications work straight away.

What notifications does Crews send?

Notifications for new events, event updates, event cancellations, event reminders, chat messages and mentions, both in the app and as web push.

Can I turn some notifications off?

Yes. Preferences are per type, so you can keep mentions and cancellations on while turning general messages off.

Does Crews send email notifications?

No. Notifications are in-app and web push only.

Do push notifications work on iPhone?

On iPhone and iPad, web push works once you add Crews to your home screen and open it from there. On Android and desktop browsers it works directly.

Are there event reminders?

Yes. If you RSVPed going, you get a reminder 24 hours and 1 hour before the event, in the app and as web push. You can switch reminders off separately.
