RSVPs tell you who planned to come

“Going” is a promise, not a headcount. Some people who said yes stay in bed, and some who never answered turn up ready to go. If you only look at RSVPs, you never learn which is which.

Check-in closes the gap. Tick people off as they arrive, add walk-ins from the member list, and Crews compares who came with who said they would. That gives you a real show rate, shows who your regulars are, and makes it easy to spot members who have quietly stopped coming, so you can reach out before they drift away.

    Open the event on your phone

    Check-in opens 2 hours before the start, right on the event page. The list starts with everyone who RSVPed.

    Tick people off

    Tap each person as they arrive. Search the crew to add walk-ins who didn’t RSVP.

    Members see it too

    Anyone checked in sees “You attended” on the event.

    Review the trends

    The Attendance tab in crew settings shows averages, show rate and per-member history for the last 30 days, 90 days, 12 months or all time.

Who can check people in?

The event’s organizer and the crew’s admins and moderators. Members can’t check themselves in.

When can I check people in?

From 2 hours before the event starts until 7 days after it ends, so you can also catch up after a busy session.

Can I check in someone who didn’t RSVP?

Yes, as a walk-in, as long as they are a member of the crew. Someone new can join the crew first, then be checked in.

What is show rate?

The share of people who RSVPed going and were then checked in. It tells you how reliable your RSVPs are.

Who can see attendance history?

Crew admins and moderators see the Attendance tab with every member’s history. Members only see whether they attended an event.

Is this gym entry or class check-in?

No. It’s check-in for events on your Crews calendar, like runs, socials and workshops. There are no bookings, passes, waivers or payments, and it doesn’t connect to gym or booking software.
