how to use crews

Hit "Get started" and sign in with your Google account. There is no separate password to create and no long sign-up form. Crews runs in your browser on phone or desktop, and members join crews for free.

To start your own, give your crew a name, a short description and a theme color, and choose whether it is public or private. Then send personal invite links to your members, or let people request to join.

To join an existing crew, open an invite link from the organizer, or browse public crews in the app. Private crews can also be joined by sending a request that an admin approves.

As your crew grows, admins can make trusted members moderators so the organizing does not all land on one person.

Your first crew starts with a 14-day free trial, no card needed to start (one free trial per person; additional crews start on a paid subscription). After the trial, an admin subscribes for $59/month per crew, with up to 100 members included. If nobody subscribes, the crew becomes read-only until someone does, and nothing is deleted.

Add an event to your crew’s shared calendar with a title, time, place and description. Members RSVP going, maybe or not going, so you always know who is actually coming.

Need a cap? Set a capacity limit. Planning something smaller? Make the event private and invite only the people you want. Your personal calendar shows events from all your crews in one place, and you can export them to your calendar app as ICS.

Members can also choose to share their birthday, so the crew never misses one.

Every crew has a real-time chat, and every event gets its own chat for the logistics. Reply in threads, react, run a quick poll, @mention someone, link an event with a #mention, and pin the messages that matter.

Share photos in the chat, then turn the best ones into memory posts on your crew’s memory wall, so the good moments stay easy to find.

Every crew is placed in a league by size: silver, gold, diamond, emerald or legend. Within a league, crews are ranked by points, and weekly points reset every Monday.

Points come from challenges. Open a challenge to every crew in your league or invite one crew to a 1v1. Each crew submits memory posts, members vote, and the winning crew earns 100 league points. Taking part is always optional.
