Is Crews right for your school?
Crews suits language schools, course providers and organized exchanges that run regular in-person meetups and want students to keep practising between them. For a school, a community that keeps students engaged is part of the product, and $59 a month is a small line in the marketing budget.
It isn’t a learning platform: there are no lessons, course enrolment, partner matching, payments or translation tools, and no video calling. If you’re a volunteer-run exchange with no budget, free tools like a chat app or a free event page may be the better choice.

How much does Crews cost for a language school?
$59 a month per crew, paid by the school. Students join free. Up to 100 members are included; each extra 100 is $18 a month. 14-day free trial, no card needed.
Does Crews translate messages?
No. There’s no built-in translation, which suits practice anyway.
Can we run online sessions?
Crews has no video calling. You can schedule an online session, collect RSVPs and share your video call link in the event chat.
Can we keep some events to enrolled students?
Yes. Make the crew private and invite students personally, or use private, invite-only events for a specific course.
