“Friday or Saturday?” should take a minute. In a group chat it takes a day: half the replies are jokes, someone answers a different question, and the organizer ends up counting messages by hand.
A poll turns that into a single message people can tap. Results are visible as they come in, and because polls live in the same chat as everything else, the decision stays next to the conversation that led to it.

Create it from the crew chat or any event chat. Write your question and between two and ten options.

Allow multiple choices if people can pick more than one, and turn on anonymous voting if you want honest answers.

Multiple choice, optional
For “which dates work for you?”, allow several answers. For “which restaurant?”, keep it to one.
Anonymous, optional
Hide who voted for what when the topic is sensitive, like dues, a rule change or whether the new route is too hard.
In crew and event chats
Use polls for group-wide decisions, or keep event questions like “bring snacks or order pizza?” in that event’s chat.
Pin the important ones
Admins and moderators can pin a poll so nobody misses the vote.
Can polls be anonymous?
Yes. When you create a poll you can make it anonymous, so members see the results but not who voted for which option.
Can people pick more than one option?
Yes, if you allow multiple choice when creating the poll. Otherwise each person picks one option.
