People already have a calendar they live in, usually one tied to work. Asking them to check a second calendar for group plans is how plans get missed. And organizers regularly need a plain list of names for a venue, a waiver or a booking.

So Crews exports in the two most boring, most compatible formats there are. ICS is the standard calendar format almost every calendar app understands. CSV opens in any spreadsheet. No integrations to set up, no permissions to grant.

How do I add my group’s events to Google Calendar?

Export the events from Crews as an ICS file, then use Google Calendar’s import option (Settings → Import & export) to add them to one of your calendars.

Is the ICS export a live subscription?

No. It is a file with the events as they are when you export. If plans change, Crews notifies members, and you can export again.

Who can export the attendee list?

Event organizers. They can download an event’s participants as a CSV file.

Does it work with Outlook and Apple Calendar?

Yes. Both can import ICS files, as can most other calendar apps.
